OUR STORY

We felt a strong need to move to Epsom (from not very far away) in 2015, and have loved every minute of living here since then! We have thoroughly enjoyed making new friendships and finding opportunities to create community & fun all around our new home. Jesus said "Love your Neighbour", which we've really learned the value of in our new home town... and it turns out it's a great way to live!

We long to help see Communities of Kindness in every street across Epsom & its surrounding areas.

Why DID WE Start a new church in Epsom?

We were passionate about starting a new church that loves Epsom & creates communities of kindness across the area. Jesus came with a mission to bring 'right' to life's 'wrongs', and we hope this will look like less loneliness, less separation across cultural or financial divides, and with Epsom's wonderful history through the Cluster Hospitals, we hope to see less people struggling with their mental health too!

What's a Vineyard Church?

The South West London Vineyard was the first Vineyard Church in the UK, and was started by John & Eleanor Mumford just over 30 years ago. It is where Duncan & Lorna met and 'The Vineyard' has felt like home & family ever since. We both love the worship, the expectation to meet with & hear from God in our gatherings, and we really value the community that made us feel so welcome. In fact, that's why we're starting a new Vineyard Church in Epsom, so that you can have somewhere that you are so welcome!

Celebration Sunday?

On 17th July 2022, Epsom Vineyard Church celebrated meeting at Blenheim High School for one year. Duncan shared how looking back to recognise how God has been working in our lives is so important. He interviewed some of the church members who shared how God has been working in ‘thier lives’.
